The Round Top-Carmine Education Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that is representative of the communities and businesses served by Round Top-Carmine ISD. The foundation is a 501 (c) 3 tax exempt organization established to create support for the music and academic programs of Round Top-Carmine ISD. These funds are not available through tax revenues, but come through tax deductible gifts made by individuals, businesses, and private and corporate foundations interested in the welfare of the Round Top-Carmine ISD students.
By supporting: Your support may come from tax deductible contributions of cash, annual pledges, memorial gifts, real estate, planned giving, or other gifts in kind.
By participating: The Foundation welcomes the intangible and invaluable gifts of your time and talents.
We provide funding for several types of enrichment (Band, fine arts and technology), as well as for innovative teaching grants. Because our District must return a large portion of property tax revenues to the State, there would not be funding for those enrichment programs through the school district's budget. At some future date, we would like to set up a Permanent Endowment, so that yearly budgets and annual fundraisers do not limit what we are able to offer to our students.
Your contribution to the Round Top-Carmine Education Foundation will be gratefully received and carefully appropriated to provide innovative opportunities for RT-C ISD students. With each dollar spent for quality education, your generous gift will preserve and sustain our community’s schools.
